A+This course introduces the essential operating system skills required of a software and microcomputer hardware support technician, and covers the skills necessary to achieve the Comptia A+ Certification (exams 220-901 and 220-902). More specifically, students learn how to use, configure, upgrade, troubleshoot and maintain the Windows Vista, 7 and 8 family of operating systems as well as basic configuration of Linux and MacOS. Students also learn the features of various hardware devices, as well as their configuration and maintenance. In addition, students learn how to upgrade, troubleshoot and repair microcomputer systems.
Career ManagementOur Career Management program introduces students to the strategies and components of an effective job search, including self-marketing and awareness, skills inventory, job search tools and the job market. The Career Management course is delivered by our on-campus Career Services Team who are there throughout the job search to assist and mentor students towards achieving their ultimate goal of employment in their field of study.

The skills learned throughout Career Management at triOS will continue to serve students in their job search as they navigate their new careers.
Windows 10 AdministrationThis course introduces the skills and knowledge necessary to install, configure, administer, and support Microsoft Windows 10. In addition, you will learn about the various tools for administering, configuring, and troubleshooting Windows 10, as well as how to deploy and upgrade to Windows 10, configure disks, users, drivers, printers, network interfaces and security. This course is a prerequisite for all other Microsoft courses and covers the material tested on the Configuring Windows 10 Devices Certification Exam (70-697) and the Installing & Configuring Windows 10 Certification Exam (70-698) needed to obtain the Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA): Windows 10 designation.
Windows PowerShell ScriptingThis course introduces students to the structure, function, and usage of Windows PowerShell for Windows administration. Students will learn how to use PowerShell to perform key system tasks as well as how to create and modify existing PowerShell scripts to automate system administration and provide reports.
