The triOS industry-leading Network Engineer Diploma Program is designed for the individual seeking knowledge and certification in computer and network administration. In addition to communication and support training, students receive training on popular operating systems including Microsoft Windows Vista, Microsoft Windows Server 2008 and Linux. The triOS College "Network Engineer" course is not recognized by the Association of Professional Engineers of Ontario or the Canadian Engineering Qualifications Board as meeting their minimum educational standards for licensure as a professional engineer. Students and graduates are reminded that the Ontario Professional Engineers Act, Section 40, restricts the use of the term "engineer" as part of an occupational or business designation. Graduates of this course should not represent themselves as "engineers" or misrepresent themselves as having the equivalent standing as a professional engineer in the province of Ontario.
