The Canadian Payroll Association (CPA) is the national association that has been representing employer payroll interests in Canada since 1978. The CPA is influential, affecting payroll legislative policies and practices in hundreds of thousands of small, medium and large employers, and payroll service and software providers.
Successful graduates of the Accounting and Payroll Administrator program will meet the educational requirements to achieve the Payroll Compliance Practitioner certification from the Certified Payroll Management Program (CPM), issued by the Canadian Payroll Association (CPA). The certification is nationally recognized as the standard of excellence for payroll training. To receive certification, all PCP candidates must become members of the CPA, which can be accomplished through employment with a company that has a Business membership, or by purchasing an individual membership.
The CompTIA A+ certification is the industry standard for computer support technicians. The international, vendor-neutral certification proves competence in areas such as installation, preventative maintenance, networking, security and troubleshooting. CompTIA A+ certified technicians also have excellent customer service and communication skills to work with clients.
Students who successfully complete the Network Engineer + Internship, Network Specialist (Multi OS), or Mobile Desktop Support Technician programs, are eligible to write the CompTIA A+ certification exam.
CompTIA Linux+ Powered by LPI is a high-stakes, vendor-neutral certification that validates the fundamental knowledge and skills required of junior Linux administrators. CompTIA Linux+ Powered by LPI consists of two exams, LX0-101 and LX0-102. The exams cover system architecture; Linux installation and package management; GNU and Unix commands; devices, Linux filesystems, and the Filesystem Hierarchy Standard. Professionals who pass the exam can work at the Linux command line, perform maintenance tasks, assist users, and install and configure workstations.
Students who successfully complete the Network Engineer + Internship or Network Specialist (Multi OS) programs, are eligible to write the CompTIA Linux+ certification exam.
The CompTIA Network+ certification is the sign of a competent networking professional. It is an international, vendor-neutral certification that proves a technician’s competency in managing, maintaining, troubleshooting, installing and configuring basic network infrastructure.
Students who successfully complete the Network Engineer + Internship, Network Specialist (Multi OS), or Mobile Desktop Support Technician programs, are eligible to write the CompTIA Network + certification exam.
The Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) certification helps validate that an individual has the comprehensive set of skills necessary to perform a particular job role, such as database administrator or enterprise messaging administrator. MCITP certifications build on the technical proficiency measured in the Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) certifications. Therefore, you will earn one or more MCTS certifications on your way to earning an MCITP certification.
Students who successfully complete the Network Engineer + Internship, Network Specialist, Network Specialist (Multi OS), or Mobile Desktop Support Technician programs, are eligible to write the Microsoft Certified IT Professional certification exams.
The Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) certifications provide the foundation for Microsoft Certification. These certifications are designed to validate your skills on the features and functionality of key technologies. You can show your depth of knowledge in one specific technology, earn multiple MCTS certifications to show breadth across different products, or build on the MCTS to earn a Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) certification.
Students who successfully complete the Network Engineer + Internship, Network Specialist, Network Specialist (Multi OS), or Mobile Desktop Support Technician programs, are eligible to write the Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist certification exams.
A Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist in Windows Vista Configuration has the knowledge and skills to configure Windows Vista for optimal performance on the desktop. Such skills include the ability to install, manage, and configure the new security, network, and application features in Windows Vista. You must complete this certification before you begin the Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP): Enterprise Support Technician curriculum.
Consumer support technicians have experience with a wide range of desktop operating systems, desktop applications, mobile devices, viruses, malicious software, and networking and hardware support issues.

The Institute of Law Clerks of Ontario supports the highest professional standards by providing essential opportunities to innovate, share ideas and knowledge of best practices. triOS College has an exclusive agreement as the only Private Career College to be in association with The Institute of Law Clerks of Ontario (ILCO).
As of May 7, 2010, any triOS student who starts the Law Clerk or the Law Clerk + Internship program will receive student membership with ILCO. In addition to this, triOS has been approved as an official Provincial Examination location for ILCO exams. Students can write all four ILCO Provincial Examinations at all of our nine Ontario triOS locations.
