Businesses increasingly rely on well-organized supply chains and logistics as they grow and expand regionally, internationally, or even globally.

SCMAO and triOS have reached an agreement that would grant advanced standing for graduates of triOS College’s full-time Supply Chain & Logistics Diploma Program to pursue their Certified Supply Chain Management Professional (CSCMP) designation.

The CSCMP designation is an internationally-accredited certification of strategic supply chain leadership, and is Canada’s most widely-held designation in supply chain management. In order to grant advanced standing, SCMAO assesses the curriculum for each program component. “Graduates would have sufficient training to meet the rigorous requirements of the CSCMP program,” said Carol Ship Spencer, Director, Education, SCMAO, “students who complete triOS’ Supply Chain & Logistics program should be proud of their achievement, and consider pursuing the CSCMP as the next step to becoming a leader in the supply chain.”

The agreement applies to graduates of the full-time Supply Chain & Logistics Program who have obtained a minimum of 70%. “This new agreement with the SCMAO gives our students and graduates a strategic pathway to pursue management level roles as the next step in their careers. This gives them a competitive advantage and will launch them into broader employment opportunities in a growing sector,” said Wendy Churchill, triOS College Vice President of Academic Services & Business Development.
