INSTRUCTOR POSITIONS

GENERAL INSTRUCTOR REQUIREMENTS

All Instructor positions are required to provide quality delivery of assigned courses utilizing a variety of instruction strategies, techniques and delivery methods to meet the individual learning styles of the students, in a safe and civil learning environment. Instructors are responsible for teaching assigned courses in accordance with course competencies, taking daily attendance, and as required, grading class tests,assignments and exams.

CURRENT INSTRUCTOR OPPORTUNITIES

MEDICAL OFFICE ASSISTANT INSTRUCTOR 

(Various GTA Opportunities – Hamilton,Mississauga, Brampton, Toronto, Scarborough and Oshawa Locations)

We are actively recruiting for medical administration professionals interested in joining our team as an instructor for our Medical Office Assistant program. We have various campuses and potential opportunities throughout the GTA.

To be considered for this opportunity you will have 3-5 years of practical experience in medical office administration. Experience with OHIP billing and medical transcription is required. Previous teach experience and knowledge of the Private Career College industry is considered an asset. The ability to enhance written material with personal experience is mandatory. Your professionalism combined with intermediate MS Office skills, superior English communication, and organizational skills will be essential to success in this role. Hours of work for this position will be Monday to Friday, either 8am-12pm, 1pm-5pm, or 6pm-10pm.

PERSONAL SUPPORT WORKER THEORY INSTRUCTOR 

(Various GTA Opportunities – Hamilton,Mississauga, Brampton, Toronto, Scarborough and Oshawa Locations)

We are actively recruiting for Registered Nurse’s interested in joining our team as an in-class theory instructor for our Personal Support Worker program. We have various campuses and potential opportunities throughout the GTA.

To be considered for this opportunity you must be a Registered Nurse in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario. You will have 3-5 years of practical experience in nursing, ideally working with or as a PSW. Previous teach experience and knowledge of the Private Career College industry is considered an asset. The ability to enhance written material with personal experience is mandatory. Your professionalism combined with intermediate MS Office skills, superior English communication, and organizational skills will be essential to success in this role. Hours of work for this position will be Monday to Friday, either 8am-1pm, 1pm-6pm, or 5pm-10pm.

LEGAL INSTRUCTOR – (For Future Opportunities)

We are accepting resumes for future opportunities from legal professionals interested in joining our Brampton campus team as an Instructor for our Law Clerk and/or Paralegal programs. To be considered for opportunities within our Law Clerk program you will either be a licensed Lawyer in good standing with the Law Society of Upper Canada or a Law Clerk. To be considered for opportunities within our Paralegal program, you will either be a licensed Lawyer or licensed Paralegal in good standing with the Law Society of Upper Canada. In addition to the above qualifications, the successful candidate must have a minimum of 2 years practical experience related to the legal profession.Experience with legal software programs, specifically PC Law and/or DIVORCEmate, is preferred. Your professionalism combined with intermediate MS Office skills, superior communication and organizational skills will be essential to success in this role. Hours of work for this position will either be 8am-12pm or 1pm-5pm, Monday to Friday.

CAMPUS ADMINISTRATION POSITIONS

FINANCIAL AID OFFICER

(Various GTA Opportunities – Hamilton,Mississauga, Brampton, Toronto, Scarborough and Oshawa Locations)

We are actively seeking strong business professionals with strong customer service and financial services experience to join our team as Financial Aid Officer, for our Greater Toronto Area (GTA) campuses. We have various campuses and potential opportunities throughout the GTA.

The Financial Aid Officer is responsible for providing financial counselling to students enabling them to obtain educational funding resources.You will collect tuition and courseware fees, as well as maintain student records.

A strong background in customer service and sales is essential to success in this position. Collections experience would be considered an asset.

To be considered for these opportunity you will have 2 to 3 years of related work experience. Experience working with OSAP will be considered an asset. Preference will be given to candidates that have experience working in a Private Career College. You will be proficient with MS Office, primarily Word and Excel.

EDUCATION CONSULTANT 

(Various GTA Opportunities – Hamilton,Mississauga, Brampton, Toronto, Scarborough and Oshawa Locations)

We are actively seeking dynamic sales professionals and established relationship builders to join our team as Education Consultant, for our Greater Toronto Area (GTA) campuses. We have various campuses and potential opportunities throughout the GTA.

The Education Consultant is responsible for recruiting, qualifying and enrolling new students into our college programs. Any student seeking admission to a program must first pass through a consultation and evaluation process with the Education Consultant.

Primary responsibilities for this position include - telephone prospecting through contact and follow-up with potential students; recruit new students through regular and ongoing outreach activities; interview and test applicants using the triOS pre-screening and sales process; establish and maintain rapport with student body and staff to promote referrals; and maintain regular data entry in our college administration system, TCAS.

To be considered for these opportunity you will have a minimum 2 years’experience in a sales related position; prior experience in sales in the Private Career College industry would be preferred; excellent written and verbal English communication skills; excellent interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills; excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills; and proficiency with Microsoft Office is essential.
