INSTRUCTOR POSITIONS
GENERAL INSTRUCTOR REQUIREMENTS
All Instructor positions are required to provide quality delivery of assigned courses utilizing a variety of instruction strategies, techniques and delivery methods to meet the individual learning styles of the students, in a safe and civil learning environment. Instructors are responsible for teaching assigned courses in accordance with course competencies, taking daily attendance, and as required, grading class tests, assignments and exams.
CURRENT INSTRUCTOR OPPORTUNITIES
POLICE FOUNDATIONS INSTRUCTOR (Immediate)
We require an experienced Police Constable to deliver the Instructor led Police Foundations program curriculum. Qualified candidates must possess a minimum of 5 years current and relevant enforcement experience in addition to a related diploma or degree from a recognized Law Enforcement education program. You must have excellent communication and organization skills along with a professional attitude. This position would suit a retired police officer.
PERSONAL SUPPORT WORKER (Theory) INSTRUCTOR (Immediate)
We require an experienced Instructor to deliver our Personal Support Worker (PSW) program curriculum. Candidates must be a Registered Nurse (RN) with the College of Nurses of Ontario. In addition to being an RN the successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years practical experience in the PSW field. Previous teaching experience in a classroom environment is mandatory as are intermediate MS Office skills. Excellent communication and organizational skills along with a professional attitude are essential. This position is considered a permanent part-time opportunity, working on average five (5) hours per day, Monday to Friday.
COMMUNITY SERVICE WORKER (CSW) INSTRUCTOR (Immediate)
We require an experienced Community Service Worker (CSW) Instructor. The successful candidate must possess a BA/BSC or equivalent in Public Health and/or Social Services. A minimum of 3 to 5 years practical public health and/or social services experience is required. Previous teaching experience is mandatory. MS Office skills required. Excellent oral communication skills and a professional attitude along with a passion for teaching is a must. This position is considered a permanent part-time opportunity, working on average four (4) hours per day, Monday to Friday.
MICROSOFT OFFICE APPLICATIONS & BUSINESS INSTRUCTOR (Immediate)
We are actively recruiting for a Microsoft Office 2007 and Canadian Business Instructor with our Brampton campus. The successful applicant will possess the qualifications required to teach both the Business Program & Microsoft Advanced Office Applications 2007 courses. The ideal candidate will have a post-secondary education in Business Management and 3-5 years of practical experience in Human Resources, Accounting, Marketing and Canadian Business. In addition, we require an individual who has extensive advance knowledge of Microsoft Office 2007 Applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook. Previous teaching experience is mandatory as are excellent verbal and written communication skills and a professional attitude. Preference will be given to applicants that are Microsoft Office Certified.
