GENERAL INSTRUCTOR REQUIREMENTS
All Instructor positions are required to provide quality delivery of assigned courses utilizing a variety of instruction strategies, techniques and delivery methods to meet the individual learning styles of the students, in a safe and civil learning environment. Instructors are responsible for teaching assigned courses in accordance with course competencies, taking daily attendance, and as required, grading class tests, assignments and exams.
CURRENT INSTRUCTOR OPPORTUNITIES
PERSONAL SUPPORT WORKER CLINICAL INSTRUCTOR (April 2014)
We require an experience Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) interested in clinical Instruction opportunities with our Personal Support Worker (PSW) program. To be considered for this opportunity, candidates must be a RN or RPN with the College of Nurses of Ontario with a minimum of 2 years practical work experience working with PSWs. Previous clinical supervision experience is preferred and theory teaching experience would be considered an asset. Excellent communication and organizational skills along with a professional attitude are essential. The successful candidate must have a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle. This position requires travel to the clinical placement facilities. Hours of work will be during the day, Monday to Friday, and will vary depending on the facility.
PERSONAL SUPPORT WORKER - THEORY INSTRUCTOR (For Future Opportunities)
We are actively accepting resumes for future opportunities from Registered Nurses interested in joining our Windsor campus team as an in-class Personal Support Worker Instructor. To be considered for this position you must be a Registered Nurse in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario. A minimum of 2 years practical experience in nursing, working with or as a PSW, is required. Previous teach experience is preferred. The ability to enhance written material with personal experience is mandatory. Your professionalism combined with intermediate MS Office skills, supervisor English communication, and organizational skills will be essential to success in this role. Hours of work for this position will either be 5 p.m. – 10 p.m. or 6 p.m. – 11 p.m., Monday to Friday.
PHYSIOTHERAPIST ASSISTANT INSTRUCTOR (For Future Opportunities)
We are actively accepting resumes for future opportunities from Physiotherapists interested in joining our Windsor campus team as a Physiotherapist Assistant program Instructor. Successful candidates will be registered or registration eligible with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. You will have the knowledge and experience in medical terminology (anatomy, physiology); the appropriate education and a minimum of 2 years practical experience in a Canadian clinical physiotherapy setting. Previous teaching experience in a classroom environment is preferred. The ability to enhance written material with personal experience as well as intermediate MS Office skills are essential. Excellent communication and organizational skills as well as a good command of the English language are required. Opportunities will be considered part-time, averaging 4 hours per day, Monday to Friday, either 8 a.m. - 12 p.m. (noon) or 1 p.m. – 5 p.m.

CAMPUS ADMINISTRATION POSITIONS
FINANCIAL AID OFFICER (Immediate)
We are actively recruiting for a business professional interested in customer and financial services to join our Windsor campus team as a Financial Aid Officer. The primary responsibility of this position is to provide financial counselling to students enabling them to obtain educational funding resources. In addition, you will collect tuition and courseware fees as well as maintain student records. A strong background in customer service and sales is essential to success in this position. Collections experience would be an asset. To be successful in this role you will have 2 to 3 years of related work experience. Experience working with OSAP is considered an asset. Preference will be given to candidates that have experience working in a Private Career College. A strong background in customer service and sales is essential. You will be proficient with MS Office, primarily Word and Excel.
