INSTRUCTOR POSITIONS

 

GENERAL INSTRUCTOR REQUIREMENTS

 

All Instructor positions are required to provide quality delivery of assigned courses utilizing a variety of instruction strategies, techniques and delivery methods to meet the individual learning styles of the students, in a safe and civil learning environment. Instructors are responsible for teaching assigned courses in accordance with course competencies, taking daily attendance, and as required, grading class tests, assignments and exams.

 

CURRENT INSTRUCTOR OPPORTUNITIES

 

PHYSIOTHERAPY ASSISTANT INSTRUCTOR - (Immediate)

 

We are actively recruiting for a registered Physiotherapist interested in joining our team as a Physiotherapy Assistant program Instructor. Successful candidates will be registered with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. You will have the knowledge and experience in medical terminology (anatomy, physiology); the appropriate education and a minimum of 2 years practical experience in a Canadian clinical physiotherapy setting. Previous teaching experience in a classroom environment is preferred. The ability to enhance written material with personal experience as well as intermediate MS Office skills are essential. Excellent communication and organizational skills as well as a good command of the English language are required. This opportunity would be considered a part-time position, hours of work will either be 8 a.m. - 12 p.m. (noon) or 1 p.m. - 5 p.m., Monday to Friday.

 

OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY ASSISTANT INSTRUCTOR (May 2014 - Evenings)

 

We are actively accepting resumes from experienced Occupational Therapists to join our Windsor campus team as an Occupational Therapy Assistant program Instructor. The successful candidate will have the knowledge and experience in Medical Terminology (Anatomy, Physiology), the appropriate education and a minimum of 2 years practical experience in a Canadian clinical occupational therapy setting. The qualified candidate must be registered with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario. The ability to enhance written material with personal experience is required. Intermediate MS Office skills as well as excellent communication and organizational skills as well as a good command of the English language are essential. Hours of work for this position will be 6 p.m. – 10 p.m., Monday to Friday.

 

PERSONAL SUPPORT WORKER CLINICAL INSTRUCTOR (April 2014)

 

We require an experience Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) interested in clinical Instruction opportunities with our Personal Support Worker (PSW) program. To be considered for this opportunity, candidates must be a RN or RPN with the College of Nurses of Ontario with a minimum of 2 years practical work experience working with PSWs. Previous clinical supervision experience is preferred and theory teaching experience would be considered an asset. Excellent communication and organizational skills along with a professional attitude are essential. The successful candidate must have a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle. This position requires travel to the clinical placement facilities. Hours of work will be during the day, Monday to Friday, and will vary depending on the facility.

 

PERSONAL SUPPORT WORKER - THEORY INSTRUCTOR (For Future Opportunities)

 

We are actively accepting resumes for future opportunities from Registered Nurses interested in joining our Windsor campus team as an in-class Personal Support Worker Instructor. To be considered for this position you must be a Registered Nurse in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario. A minimum of 2 years practical experience in nursing, working with or as a PSW, is required. Previous teach experience is preferred. The ability to enhance written material with personal experience is mandatory. Your professionalism combined with intermediate MS Office skills, supervisor English communication, and organizational skills will be essential to success in this role. Hours of work for this position will either be 5 p.m. – 10 p.m. or 6 p.m. – 11 p.m., Monday to Friday.

 

PHYSIOTHERAPIST ASSISTANT INSTRUCTOR (For Future Opportunities)

We are actively accepting resumes for future opportunities from Physiotherapists interested in joining our Windsor campus team as a Physiotherapist Assistant program Instructor. Successful candidates will be registered or registration eligible with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. You will have the knowledge and experience in medical terminology (anatomy, physiology); the appropriate education and a minimum of 2 years practical experience in a Canadian clinical physiotherapy setting. Previous teaching experience in a classroom environment is preferred. The ability to enhance written material with personal experience as well as intermediate MS Office skills are essential. Excellent communication and organizational skills as well as a good command of the English language are required. Opportunities will be considered part-time, averaging 4 hours per day, Monday to Friday, either 8 a.m. - 12 p.m. (noon) or 1 p.m. – 5 p.m.

CAMPUS ADMINISTRATION POSITIONS

  

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT / FINANCIAL AID ASSISTANT (Immediate)

 

We are actively recruiting for a business professional interested in customer and financial services to join our Windsor campus team as an Administrative Assistant / Financial Aid Assistant. The primary responsibility of this position is to provide a point of contact for all persons who visit or contact triOS ensuring that everyone feels good about their first impression. The successful candidate will support the day-to-day operations of the campus by assisting the Campus Director to ensure all administrative activities are current and up-to-date. In addition this position is responsible for providing assistance for student financial transactions, maintenance and follow-up of all student accounts.
