What is Second Career?
If you are an unemployed worker who has been laid-off and you are interested in training for your next career, triOS College recommends the provincial government's new Second Career program. This initiative helps unemployed workers who commit to a long-term training plan make the transition to new careers in growing areas of the economy.
How does it work?
Second Career can help an applicant with the costs of tuition, books, living expenses and other costs associated with the training to build skills for a new career. triOS College will play an essential part in this process by providing you with high-quality, hands-on training, leading not only to a reputable diploma, but also a rewarding career.
How do you qualify?
Second Career is a new Ontario government program designed to help people who have been laid off within the last 12 months and are currently unemployed or working less than 20 hours a week.
