triOS is proud to be offering the Massage Therapy diploma program that is recognized by the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario, to address the market need for massage therapists in today’s workforce.

“Our Massage Therapy diploma program is designed to give students vital hands-on experience,” says Stuart Bentley, President of triOS College. “The Scholarship Program with Massage Addict is going to be instrumental in helping the massage therapists of tomorrow get the education that they need today.”

Each campus has a brand new massage therapy clinic. These clinics provide students with an environment that allows them to complete their clinical hours on campus.

“By partnering with Massage Addict, we are able to offer students the opportunity to get to know Canada’s leading massage provider while they are in school,” says Bentley. “We expect many graduates to get hired at a Massage Addict clinic once they have completed their education with triOS.”

“Having student clinics in our multiple locations across the province really helps to provide the public with affordable massage therapy healthcare services,” says Brandy John, Faculty Head of Massage Therapy at triOS. “The clinic hours allow our students to learn from a variety of clients with differing perspectives and conditions, allowing a richer educational experience for all.”

Frank Gerencser CEO of triOS College against marble backdropThis medal is in recognition of Gerencser’s achievement of cofounding triOS College and growing it into a highly successful and award-winning Canadian private career college with campuses across three provinces.

Gerencser attended the University of Waterloo and completed his Bachelor of Applied Science (Systems Design Engineering) in 1984.

He remembers selling computer kits as a sideline while he was still an undergraduate and taking all his electives in business and entrepreneurship. Upon graduation, he started a computer systems integrator and then a national computer distributor.

In 1992, Gerencser partnered with Stuart Bentley and they acted on their shared vision of improving lives by sharing their knowledge and passion for excellence. It was that year that they founded triOS Corporation, offering corporate training to the employees of computer dealers, small/medium businesses and larger corporations.

“We wanted to make an impact and help people reach their full potential,” he said. “We started small and built our business around this vision.”

Since then, triOS has grown into one of Canada’s largest private career colleges, with campuses in major cities across southwestern Ontario and the Greater Toronto Area.

The college offers diploma programs across five faculties of Business, Technology, Healthcare, Law, and Supply Chain, and has helped over forty thousand students become job-ready graduates.

In 2014, triOS acquired Eastern College in Atlantic Canada and now offers similar programs in four cities across New Brunswick and Nova Scotia.

Of his success, Gerencser says that you don’t have to have all the answers when starting a business.

“You learn a whole lot more by surviving the hard times than you do by coasting through the easy ones.”

Oneida Nation of the Thames LogoWith over 20 years’ experience in preparing students with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in Massage Therapy and Equine Massage Therapy, the D’Arcy Lane Institute will move into the current triOS College location on First Street in London.

As part of the transaction, triOS College has agreed to provide $150,000 of scholarships to Oneida Nation of the Thames members that will enable them to receive training for new careers in any triOS programs.

“It is with great excitement that we are able to bring the D’Arcy Lane Institute and its employees into the triOS family. They are one of the original Massage Therapy Institutions and have built an outstanding reputation in London over the years,” says Frank Gerencser, CEO, triOS College. “We will continue to build upon that reputation as we grow the Massage Therapy and Equine Massage Therapy programs in Ontario.”

The London campus has been outfitted with a brand new massage therapy clinic to provide students with an environment that mimics real-world scenarios, and allows clinical hours to be obtained on campus grounds.  Massage services provided by our students will be offered to the public at a reduced rate.

Additionally, triOS College’s Hamilton location has added a brand new massage therapy clinic to their campus and will be offering the 88 week program to students within the area.

triOS is proud to begin offering the Massage Therapy and the Equine Massage Therapy diploma programs to students across Ontario, responding to the market need for Registered Massage Therapists (RMTs) and Registered Equine Massage Therapists (REMTs) in today’s workforce.

“We are pleased to transition the ownership of D’Arcy Lane Institute to triOS College from the Oneida Nation of the Thames. triOS has the expertise and resources to grow the Institute and provide career opportunities for its graduates,” stated Acting Chief, Charity Doxtator of Oneida Nation of the Thames. “We are pleased to continue our association with D’Arcy Lane Institute and triOS College through the scholarship program,” she added.

D’Arcy Lane will continue to train current students and triOS College will accept new students in classes that begin in September 2017.

triOS has assisted over 200 former Everest students in finishing their education at seven out of nine Ontario campuses, and has been celebrating these students graduations over the past couple months.
It is expected that 35 more of these students will graduate from triOS over the next year.
