Addiction Worker Instructor (Immediate, Part-time, Contract)

triOS College Business Technology Healthcare Inc., Mississauga campus, is actively seeking an addiction worker professional interested in joining the campus team to teach within our Addiction Worker program.

Primary Responsibilities:
The primary responsibility of this position is to provide quality delivery of assigned courses within the Addiction Worker program, utilizing a variety of instruction strategies, techniques and delivery methods to meet the individual learning styles of the students, in a safe and civil learning environment. Instructors are responsible for teaching assigned courses in accordance with course competencies, taking daily attendance, and as required, grading class tests, assignments and exams.

The successful candidate must possess a bachelors in social services and/or addiction counseling. A minimum of 3 to 5 years practical knowledge and experience working in the addiction services field is required. Previous teach experience is preferred. ICADC is preferred or have a willingness to commit to the credentialing process. The ability to enhance written material with personal experience is mandatory. Your professionalism combined with intermediate MS Office skills, superior English communication and organizational skills will be essential to success in this role.

Hours of Work:
This position is a part-time opportunity, Monday-Friday, 8am-12pm.

Contract Type:
This is a 6-month contract oppotunity.
