GRADUATE WITH A GUARANTEED JOB AS A PERSONAL SUPPORT WORKER
triOS College and Revera are thrilled to announce a joint initiative to train students in the Personal Support Worker (PSW) program with the promise of a position in the field at one of Revera’s long term care homes after completing their training.
triOS will offer the partnered Personal Support Worker program. Students will be expertly trained in safety and mobility, care planning, body systems, assisting with medications and other key areas of the field, graduating with a triOS Certificate from the Colleges’ National Association of Career Colleges (NACC) approved program.
Students who have been accepted into the program by Revera Long Term Care will be given a Conditional Letter of Employment, dependent on finishing the program. While studying, students may benefit from available employment opportunities at Revera to help prepare them for their future career. Upon graduating from the program, students will have not only the security of a job at Revera, but also assistance from the company in repaying their student loans for two years while they are working with Revera.
These 2-hour information and interview sessions will take place at Revera Long Term Care Homes at the following dates, times and addresses:

THE PERSONAL SUPPORT WORKER PROGRAM
Success in today’s healthcare world depends on having well trained employees who can multi-task to meet a variety of challenges. The triOS Personal Support Worker program has been designed to provide students with all of the administrative and clinical knowledge and skills required for employment as a Personal Support Worker.
The Personal Support Worker program enables you to develop skills required to provide personal support services to patients and their families, clients, and residents in the community, at home, in hospitals and in long-term care facilities. Services provided by the PSW include assistance in routine daily living activities; mobility; personal care and hygiene; ongoing medical conditions; and management of household activities.
• National Association of Career Colleges (NACC) curriculum that maps to the Ontario Provincial approved training standard
• Classroom in a real-world healthcare setting, on-site at a long-term care facility that includes hospital beds, wheel chairs and other required equipment
• Clinical work placement in a long-term care facility
• Microsoft Office, Microsoft Imagine Standard and Windows are included in the program fees
Graduate with a guaranteed job as a Pesonal Support Worker at a Revera home and receive student loan repayment from Revera. *
