TORONTO – On Monday, September 19th, triOS College announced the launch of a new Supply Chain and Operations Management program. Changes in the supply chain industry have resulted in a demand for professionals skilled in both supply chain management and operations management to ensure the efficient distribution and procurement of goods. The new program is designed for new entrants into the supply chain field who want to learn more about the management side of the industry, and is also appealing to existing supply chain professionals looking to upgrade their skills and. Over the course of 61-weeks, students will learn key supply chain and operations management concepts such as Supply Chain Purchasing and Inventory, Supply Chain Transportation, and Management Data Skills.
“We’re excited to continue to introduce programs that respond to and meet industry demands”, said President Stuart Bentley. “The launch of this program will ensure that those already in the Supply Chain field will have access to high-quality education so that they can upgrade their skills and advance their careers”.
Students will be able to apply the knowledge they have learned in the classroom and gain meaningful, hands-on experience in operations management during their internship. In addition, students will be able to secure a membership with the Supply Chain Ontario Institute along with a Certificate in International Freight Forwarding. Graduates of the Supply Chain and Operations Management program will also be eligible for advanced standing in the Certified Supply Chain Management Professional designation program.
