Frank Gerencser
Chief Executive Officer and Co-founder
Frank Gerencser is the Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of triOS Corporation, the parent company of triOS College Business Technology Healthcare Inc., Eastern College Inc., and Lifecycle Systems Corporation. He was recognized with the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal and the recipient of the University of Waterloo Faculty of Engineering 2018 Alumni Achievement Medal for Professional Achievement, his alma mater where he received his System Design Engineering degree. He sits on several boards, including the Career Colleges Ontario (CCO), and is an active member of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO).
Stuart Bentley
President and Co-founder
Stuart Bentley is the President and co-founder of triOS Corporation, the parent company of Eastern College, triOS College Business Technology Healthcare Inc. and Lifecycle Systems Corporation. He has served on several private and public company’s board of directors and currently serves on the Board of AME Learning Inc., the New Brunswick Association of Private Colleges and Universities (NBAPCU) and is the New Brunswick representative, Executive Committee Member and Treasurer on the National Association of Career Colleges (NACC) board. He is an active member of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO). Stuart has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from McMaster University.
Wendy Churchill
Executive Vice President
Wendy Churchill is the Executive Vice President for triOS College and Eastern College. She has over 25 years of senior leadership experience in the Private Career College and Corporate Training industry and has led teams in admissions, academics, career services and operations. Wendy currently sits on the NACC Quality Education Committee and was elected to sit on the National Payroll Institute Code of Conduct board. Prior to joining the career college sector, Wendy worked extensively in the private corporate training sector and was the Senior Director for the leading Microsoft Training Partner, triOS Training Centres. During her leadership, triOS Training Centres won Canadian Microsoft Training Partner of the Year multiple times. Wendy has served on multiple advisory councils, including the worldwide Microsoft Advisory Council for educators, the Ontario Chambers of Commerce and Boards of Trade, and as President of the International Association of Microsoft Certified Partners.
Craig Donaldson
Executive Vice President, International
Since joining the triOS team in 2008, Craig Donaldson has been committed to creating an environment that best supports student success. Craig has made noteworthy contributions to the growth of our organization, including the execution of our successful merger with Eastern College, as well as launching innovative online programs and international student partnerships. In his current role of Executive Vice President, International, Craig is passionate about delivering an exceptional Canadian educational experience to international students, and helping students gain the skills and expertise to realize their career goals. Craig enjoys travel, creating spreadsheets and sharing witty puns. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Victoria.
Jayesh Makan
Vice President of Finance
With over 15 years experience in the Information Technology, Financial services, and Retail sectors, Jayesh Makan joined triOS and Eastern College as their Vice President, Finance in 2021. Prior to entering the career college sector, Jayesh was the Director of Finance for CaseWare International (Toronto, Canada), a global leader in auditing software solutions, as well as Alteram Solutions (Johannesburg, South Africa). As a Chartered Professional Accountant, he has also maintained a wealth of leadership roles such as the Head of Business Reporting at Edcon, one of southern Africa’s largest non-food retailer. Jayesh strives towards creating a productive and inclusive work environment, encouraging every team member to achieve their very best to collectively accomplish goals. Apart from dealing with auditors and the numbers, he enjoys the outdoor sporting activities with his 2 young boys.
Massimo Noce
Vice President, Marketing & Customer Experience
Massimo is passionately focused on customer centricity and uses that, along with insights and data to make key marketing decisions within the organization. Over the past 20 years, he has developed expertise in digital, social media, email, traditional media, PR, product management, and all other aspects of marketing. His journey has taken him from large corporate environments, to start-ups, to his own practice, and throughout his career he has been committed to developing a deeper understanding and appreciation of the customer. This approach has led to enhancements of the triOS College and Eastern College brands, media buying, website content, user experience, social media, and customer communications. Massimo holds an MBA from Schulich, and an undergraduate degree in Economics from York University. Outside of work, Massimo enjoys time with his daughter, is on the Board of an Ontario based charity, and runs a community based charitable endeavour for the homeless.
Jason Toms
Vice President of Facilities, Information Systems, and Technology
As the Director of Facilities, Information Systems, and Technology, Jason has a demonstrated ability to bring innovative technology-based solutions directly to the end-user. Leveraging his 20+ years as an IT consultant, instructor, mentor and leader, Jason understands and appreciates how non-technical individuals can perceive and leverage various IT-centric tools. Along with leading the IT team, Jason also had the privilege of leading the Academics department for two years, giving him a clear perspective on how technology and a well-designed curriculum can enhance student experience create future-ready graduates. In addition to proudly holding a Network Engineer diploma from triOS College, Jason also has a B.Sc in Information Technology with an emphasis in cybersecurity and forensics.
Chris Piwowarski
Interim Head of Human Resources
Chris Piwowarski is the Interim Head of Human Resources at triOS Corporation, the parent company of Eastern College, triOS College Business Technology Healthcare Inc. and Lifecycle Systems Corporation. Chris has spent his career in the fashion and grocery retail environments and over the past 20 years, he has developed expertise in Human Resources, Operations, Franchisee Relations, and Planning & Communications. As the HR Leader for triOS Corporation, his focus is on how we drive our people strategy to life, cultivating win-win partnerships, and ultimately, on unleashing the power of our people. Chris has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from the University of Western Ontario, and a Post-Graduate Certificate in Human Resources Management from Humber College, as well as various Certificates from Queen’s & York Universities.
Jon Hunter
Vice President of Academics
Jon Hunter is a hands-on academic leader with an entrepreneurial mindset that drives continuous growth and improvement for himself, the staff, faculty and students he works with. Jon is a thought leader, who’s spent more than 20 years designing and delivering innovative experiences to learners from diverse demographics. Jon has studied and worked at some of the most recognized and respected universities and colleges in Canada, achieving both academic and professional accolades. However, like many of you, Jon is an untraditional student. Jon has always balanced a personal and professional need to work while pursuing his education: taking on leadership roles in retail, hospitality, and sales before establishing his home as a leader in post-secondary education. Before becoming Vice President, Academic-Jon worked in almost every area of post-secondary administration: Jon has been a teacher, Admissions Advisor, worked in Marketing, as a Registrar, Learning Experience Designer, and as a Senior Administrator. These experiences have informed Jon’s wholistic approach to designing and delivering curriculum where he places the student’s learning journey at the center of every decision he makes. Above all else, Jon believes the most important role of an educator is student success. As Vice President, Academic-Jon works diligently to encourage student success through wonderfully designed courses and equitable systems of support that set students up for success in the classroom and in their careers after graduation.
Interim Vice President of Operations
Stephanie McCrae is the Interim Vice President of Operations for triOS College and Eastern College. She has been with the Colleges for over 10 years. In her many roles as an Instructor, Employment Specialist, Campus Director, Operations and Business Development she has a strong passion for student success. Previous to Education, Stephanies experience lies in Human Resources and Legal Services. Stephanie holds an Undergraduate Degree from York University, and two post-graduate Certificates from Seneca and Humber Colleges. She is currently completing a MSc in Innovation, Leadership and Management. As a people-oriented leader, Stephanie works to ensure both students and staff are engaged and motivated for success. Known to be approachable and empathetic, she strives to foster a positive educational experience both inside and outside the classroom for learners and educators alike. Recently, Stephanie has been passionate about delivering education in all modalities; online, hybrid, in class and remotely, giving students choice and eliminating barriers to education. Outside of work, Stephanie loves to travel, enjoys running and spending time with family.
