    About the workshop

This workshop is all about helping you feel more comfortable and confident using the internet and your smartphone or tablet. The online world is full of opportunities — from finding reliable information and exploring your interests, to staying in touch with loved ones and making everyday tasks easier. But it can also feel overwhelming at times, especially when you are not sure how to search, which sites to trust, or how to manage all the apps available.

Over the course of this two-hour session, we will explore some simple but powerful skills:

    • How to search for information online quickly and safely
    • Ways to use digital tools that make everyday life easier
    • How to connect your device to the internet and protect your personal information
    • How to find, download, and uninstall apps on your smartphone or tablet

This will be a hands-on and practical workshop. You will have the chance to practice each step, ask questions, and build confidence as we go. By the end, you will leave with tips, resources, and a checklist you can use at home to keep exploring safely.

    Workshop Price: $50
Special Offer: CARP members receive a 10% discount.
