COVID-19 Case Status

Update: Nov 24, 2020

As we enter into the Holiday Season, the health and safety of our students and employees remains our highest priority.

We are committed to delivering your education safely with the high-quality experience our students expect.  It is important that we provide updates so that students can make appropriate plans surrounding their education.

The increase in Covid-19 cases, through wave 2, is gaining momentum. We will therefore continue to deliver the majority of our students’ education remotely until July 31, 2021.

triOS College is closely monitoring advice from Provincial and Municipal authorities, Public Health Units, the Ministry of Colleges and Universities,  other accrediting bodies and educational partners (such as the Law Society of Ontario and the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario).  If, at any time in 2021, authorities and partners provide alternative guidance on returning to in-class education, we will communicate a revision of the plan.

We will continue to safely enroll new students for upcoming starts by phone and all new programs have started with remote learning delivery. Feedback and additional information about remote learning delivery can be found here.

We will continue to update our communications regularly in regards to the format of delivery for all of our programs.  Please reach out to campus teams with any questions; we are always here to help.

Wishing you a safe and healthy holiday season.

There is currently 1 confirmed case reported in Hamilton Campus.

What happens when a case of COVID-19 is confirmed?

If any student or employee receives information that they have tested positive for COVID-19, this information needs to be reported to their Campus Director immediately. Our team is ready to ensure the safety of everyone on Campus and assist with any planning needed for student success.

All visitors to the Campus, including students and employees, are required to disclose if they have tested positive for COVID-19. Individuals who have tested positive are not permitted in any campus facility and will be asked to return home if they come to a campus. Anyone that reports to the campus with a confirmed positive case of COVID-19 will be reported to Public Health and may be subject to discipline up to and including expulsion from their program of study. Student and staff safety is our number one priority, and reporting to campus with a known case of COVID-19 puts the health and safety of others at immediate risk.

All students and employees that have tested positive for COVID-19 will be required to quarantine, as mandated by Public Health, and may only return to campus once they can provide a doctors note, or note from a public health official, stating they are fit to return and are not a risk to others.
