Students may be eligible, if qualified, for loans, grants, or award granted under the Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP).

Employment Ontario/Better Jobs Ontario

If you’re unemployed or receiving Employment Insurance, you may qualify for post-secondary education financing through Better Jobs Ontario or other programs managed by Employment Ontario. triOS College’s Financial Aid Officers (FAOs) can help you find the Employment Ontario agency closest to you.

Bursaries and Scholarships

Depending on your program or status, you can take advantage of various bursaries and scholarships offered by triOS College to help you cover the cost of your education.

Windmill Microlending

Microloans can help internationally-educated immigrants finance their education or training to improve their chances of achieving a successful career. If you are a skilled immigrant or refugee, you can apply for a microloan of up to $15,000 with Windmill Microlending, a registered charity. Use the funds to get the necessary Canadian licensing or training you need to pursue a career in Canada.

Monthly Payment Plan

Your tuition and material costs will be divided into monthly payments throughout your program. The first payment will be due on the first day of your classes, while the final payment will be expected approximately one month prior to your program completion. While you are currently enrolled, your payments will be interest-free.

Choose from the following payment methods:

  • pre-authorized monthly bank withdrawal
  • pre-authorized monthly credit card payment (Mastercard, VISA, or American Express)
  • debit card (Interac)
  • secure online debit or credit payment (via the triOS student web portal)
  • cheque
  • money order
  • cash

You will be automatically eligible for a monthly payment plan even without a credit check or co-signer.

EduPay – Extended Monthly Payment Plan

If you qualify, you can extend your monthly payment plans even after you complete your program. You can get approval even without a Canadian credit history if you’re a newcomer to Canada. A credit check is necessary though, and some conditions may apply.

Student Line of Credit

Consult our FAOs regarding banks or credit unions that offer student lines of credit to help you financially support your post-secondary education.

Lifelong Learning Plan

Through Canada Revenue Agency’s Lifelong Learning Plan (LLP), you may withdraw up to $10,000 per calendar year from your or your spouse’s Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP) to fund your studies.
