Business Instructor (January 2020, Part-time)
triOS College Business Technology Healthcare Inc., Kitchener campus, is actively seeking a business professional interested in joining the campus team to teach within our Business programs.
The primary responsibility of this position is to provide quality delivery of assigned courses within the Business program, utilizing a variety of instruction strategies, techniques and delivery methods to meet the individual learning styles of the students, in a safe and civil learning environment. Instructors are responsible for teaching assigned courses in accordance with course competencies, taking daily attendance, and as required, grading class tests, assignments and exams.
The successful candidate will have a post-secondary education in business management and 3 to 5 years of practical experience in Canadian business and either marketing and/or human resources. Experience in accounting is considered an asset. In addition, the successful candidate will have extensive advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Previous teaching experience is preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a professional attitude are required to be successful in this role.
Hours of Work:
This is a part-time opportunity. Hours of work will either be 8am – 12pm or 1pm – 5pm, Monday to Friday.
The scheduled start for this opportunity is January 2020.
