Insurance Specialist Online Facilitator (Immediate, Part-time)
triOS College Business Technology Healthcare Inc. is actively seeking an individual experienced working with home and auto insurance interested in joining the college to act as Online Facilitator for our Insurance Specialist program.
The primary responsibility of this position is to provide quality online facilitation of our Insurance Specialist program in an interactive and professional environment. Facilitation, grading, providing individual feedback on student deliverables, moderating and participating in online class discussions, are all requirements of this position.
Candidate will also be expected to:
-Review existing materials and assist in determining weakness.
-Provide subject matter expertise in drafting additional materials for delivery, including curated materials from online sources.
-Working with Academic Services, develop engaging exercises for the students to complete.
-Evaluating the classroom and delivery experience daily to identify areas of improvement for the evolving curriculum.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years practical experience working in home and auto insurance, as well as a degree, diploma or certificate from a business related program.
Preference will be given to candidates that are Registered Insurance Broker of Ontario (RIBO) certified, as well as to those that have working knowledge with insurance software programs – TAM or EPIC preferred.
The ability to enhance written material with personal experience is mandatory. Your professionalism combined with intermediate MS Office skills, superior English communication and organizational skills will be essential to success in this role.
The ability to use remote communication technology is required.
Hours of Work:
Hours of work for this position will be 1pm - 5pm, Monday to Friday.
The successful candidate is able to work from home in this position currently with the role transitioning to an on campus in class teaching role in September. Occasional travel to campuses in Ontario will be required to meet in-person with students.
The scheduled start is immediate.
